It is a normal case of loss on the earning side when this company's business has expanded to the area of ISDN from WAN. The question is that the reseach is realized, getting market and the balance sheet becomes black as soon as possible. The bright side is the new VP of marketing from IBM. He has the ability to grab the shares of the market. I believe the company, or better to say the CEO Mr. Peter Brojde who immagrated from east European many years ago, should hire him since "he's worth his salt". Several big guys have lost their patience e.g. RBC unloaded 224,500 shrs at the end of March, 1996, CIBC has sold 121,600 shrs April 10, 1996 and CT sold 201,600 shrs on April 17, 1996 (I understand CT did that because they had reacted on OCS too late when that share price free fell down in 1994 and finally they wrote off milloin dollars from the special equity mutual fund because OCS finally was banckrupted. The truth is that OCS closed the doors in Vancouver and took millons of dollars from shareholders then went to USA and still do business in USA.) Of course, I sold 5000 shrs of EIC to explore other stocks and kept another thousand shares of EIC because I believe EIC will recover whithin 12 months and these big guys eventually will come back. I traced EIC from the first day when they traded on to the market. This company was awarded a best corp from Quebec Government.
