Mike,

Would you classify Diamond as an inexperienced company? While they say in their report that the supply of voodoo2 exceeded demand, at least as of today they are still out of stock on the 12M board. So it isn't clear that they have solved the inventory problem nor is it clear that they have figured out where the demand is....unless you wish to subscribe to some of the clearing out inventory for rev 3 boards, etc., or that they are getting out of the Voodoo2 market. I don't necessarily condemn the company to oblivion, I hope they turn things around.

I would like to agree with you that if Diamond doesn't buy Voodoo2 chipsets that it won't have a significant impact on Voodoo2 revenue. The assumption has to be that the consumer is more interested in the Voodoo2 brand rather than the Diamond brand and it is difficult for me at least to accurately assess that.

Best Regards,
Jim
