limtex, i'm not talking specifically about cdma or even the cell phone industry. we don't have too many drams? come on. all the techies are getting killed (in manic a manic bubble mentality, nonetheless!). look at earnings. xlnx hasn't grown in 2 years! intel isn't a growth company. dell is the only really successful pc company now. pc prices are plummetting and sales growth continues to slow. chip equipment companies can't sell free equipment.

the banks are tanking b/c all that easy money built capacity WITH NO RETURN TO PAY BACK THE LOANS.

reality, imho, doesn't support your view in general. will qcom be successful in this environment? maybe. i hope so. maybe people will substitute cell phones for fast computers.

it is swimming uphill, though. bubbles ALWAYS end badly.
