No idea John as to where earnings will be. Last time the bounce I think was in part due to veiled references to a merger of some sort in the near future. With current stock prices, apparently that is on hold.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime IMO to acquire some companies very very cheap. Mr. Market is not rational, and if you can take advantage in times like these when everyone recovers their sanity you make a lot of money.

"  Louis Navellier, a small-capitalization money manager and newsletter publisher based in Reno, Nev., said the fast-growing, small companies he tracks normally trade at 18 to 23 times estimated profits for the following year. Today they trade at about 12 1/2 times forward earnings.  "It's not like this is the best buy in a decade," he said. "This is the best buy ever."
