Agree with you on the "little risk" factor. All that happened was quick profit taking which was to be expected. The company has solid numbers and it's not like granite prices are prone to commodity speculators.

As to the "manipulation" part, who knows? When the volumes were kicking up prior to the news release, the bulk of the trades involved either RBC Dominion or TD Securities. I somehow doubt that these guys wanted to play with such small game. Given that both operate two of the largest e-trade discounters in the country and given the relatively small size of the trades, I suspect that there was a lot of small-time internet playing going on. There were a couple of "cross-blocks" but nothing earth-shattering. Given the general situation on the markets, you have a good chance of being able to increase your stake with a purchase in the 60-cent range. Actually, that's something I'll probably do myself.
