I purchased the stock after Mckibbon added another 10,000 at $9.30. I paid more than he did and when the stock dropped to 6 I averaged down a bit. I feel very confortable with the stock for the following reasons.1. Management continues to show confidence by not selling their stakes purchased at much lower prices. 2. Bramson seems to have a good strategy re KM and delivered on an agreement in 1996. 3. This company has earnings without KM. 4. This is not a one-trick pony, the company has a multitude of patents. 5. The litigation may bring additional cash flow.
I have not done any quantitative analysis but I am curious whether anyone on this thread has figured out what the incremental value the KM technology would add to a disc in terms of increased storage capacity. This might give us a feel for what the product might be worth per hard drive, or other storage unit.
