Cramer seems to have a different story on the same stock every few hours, but he certainly is entertaining. Unfortunately it looks like these Brazil- IMF discussions reminds me of a Jackie Mason monologue- The IMF says we will work out a plan to give you money. Brazil says I don't really need the money-but just in case. Meanwhile the IMF has no money to give until Congress acts and Congress is immersed in impeachment inquiries and re-election campaigns. The most encouraging thing I heard today was Seidman 's opinion that Japan was finally taking steps in the right direction with the banking reforms. This may be why the yen strength and this is probably a big positive for brazil. fact is all the telebras subs will require huge capital investments and where is that money going to come from now? The cost of capital is huge.
