Shouldn't be a problem. I use Drive image all the time with NT. using a Jaz Disk as the KOT Device.

Is the Jaz drive SCSI? Is it in the boot sequence? For example does it work like booting from a floppy? If there is a bootable disc in the Jaz drive the boot starts from the OS on the Jaz drive?

I have a SCSI MO drive but do not have confidence using it as a KOT drive. When the harddrive fails does the external function independently? Can you have Partiton Magic and Drive Image resident on the external and then do repairs on the harddrives? I have always found externals to be a little more finicky than harddrives.

I have my SCSI setup to boot off of CDR. I would have to change both System BIOS and SCSI BIOS settings to boot a SCSI HD.

If the CDR were ID 1 and the SCSI harddrive were ID 2 and the system is set to boot SCSI and there is a disc in the CDR it would boot CDR? Given the same setup without a disk in the CDR wouldn't it boot SCSI harddrive?

With system bios set to A, C, SCSI and CDR = ID 1 and SCSI harddrive ID 2, wouldn't you only have to change the system bios to A, SCSI, C and remove a CDR disc to boot SCSI harddrive?

From an end user point of view I agree the boot manager is less confusing to use once set up. I certainly do not want someone else messing with my bios.
