Remember those posts that claimed that AJC was a Marketimer subscriber and she simply copies the predictions in Marketimer and used them for her GS forecasts? Well, guess what. On Thursday AJC reduced her 1998 estimated S & P 500 operating earnings number to $49.00, which is the EXACT number Brinker is using in Marketimer!!! And she also lowered her 1999 estimate to $52.50, which is now just $1.00 above Marketimer's 1999 forecast. Imagine, GS could save all that money they pay her by simply subscribing to Marketimer and using the numbers therein. And for this they call AJC a market guru?
