My personal opinion (a humble and limited one) is that the Republicans will use "the persecution" for the elections and if , to their satisfaction gain a few seats , will "heal" the country and congress with a less than impeachment type punishment like censure. If they don't get it then it will get dirty. No one wants Gore.

Any Democrat dreams to have those kinds of cards dealt to them like the Republicans got - A straight flush with Clinton as the joker. Lets see if they can play the hand.
