Knowing that there is a bleak future ahead into the next century, and how horrible things will become does one thing for us today.

It makes what car you drive, how big your house is, etc.,less significant.

Your belief in times like these are critical. A person must have a "rock" to stand on ..........

Without faith, one has nothing.

It is sad (I am very patriotic), but the U.S. is ripe for the fall. We have given no thanks for all our past blessings, and have turned our back on God. What this country stands for has changed dramatically.

If I didn't believe the Bible and Revelation (I do), which confirms 80% of the first post, I would still agree with most of the thread title. Revelation, however, has never been wrong so far ... get ready for the NEW RUSSIA, new CHINA, new EURO community .... hell bent on the domination of the U.S. and Israel.

"Saw the light" in 1982 and I am still blown away at how fast this is all coming into place in the last 16 years.

Don't believe the year 2000 hype - rapture/2nd coming/etc -- scripture specifically states that Christ will return at a time when NO ONE EXPECTS HIM - that leaves YR2000 out. Afterward, yes; how long? - no one knows.

ENJOY life now, fresh water, fresh air, freedom(?), while it lasts. Don't over-stress on things coming that MUST HAPPEN -- just put the rest of your life in perspective and live day by day.

Share what you know with others, but respect others wishes to not listen or have different opinions -- everyone makes their own choices in life, good or bad..
