Yes, that is what I do - I have to use two machines, but I haven't sprung for the dual modem because the reviews I've seen imply that the technology isn't really there yet.

As for trying to run both simultaneously, you can't - Realtick.exe (or whatever it's called) goes automatically to the last version downloaded. I called Townsend early on and they told me there was no fix they were aware of.
