The flight to quality is once more a panic. The herd, dumber than asparagus spears, fled into US Treasuries when the "safe" stocks started to fall. Now, a little tough love for the always optimistic, always too late.
O.K., I'm rubbing it in a bit because I said the bombs were overpriced when they were yielding 5.25%. I pulled a reverse Vinick. But, my Dec bomb future puts look awfully nice today. I may have been wrong on strategy, but I've got the technique of a virtuouso.
At least something about me is virtuous. <G>
