Fuchi,

I've just built a 6x86 P166+ system using the FIC PT2006 motherboard. So far, it's been flawless. It runs Windows NT V4.0 without problems. I am however disappointed with floating point performance, which seems below the level of a Pentium 100. Do you or others have any insight as to what may be the problem? If it's just me making a BIOS setup error, I'll consider buying the stock. The P166+ is really performing nicely other than the FPU, and if the M2 addresses this problem and speeds up NT apps as I'm lead to believe, Cyrix will cash in. As far as the P166+ goes, not bad for a $169 chip on a $159 board!!!

Thanks & regards,
Ulises, who loves cheap CPU's that rip!
