George only does this to people he likes. On a volume basis, he really likes you. :-)

About word vs. other art:
I am more "auditory" than "visual". Thus Stravinsky does more to reach my mystic kernel than, say, Van Gogh. But above all I am "verbal". Words, and the breathtaking tableaux they can fill out, are very special to me.
Others react differently - so perhaps I may be allowed to conclude that there is an awful lot of subjective response - "taste" - even in matters of spirit.
