>George has variously described me as: "ridiculous, inane, spooky, brainwashed, psychopathic [these alone in his very first post to me--the one where I had the audacity to link God to an experience of love at a Cancer Society convention] immature, snotty, Emilian, despicable, non-tao, non-god, non-nature, fanatic, sneaky, duplicitous, dishonest, a con man, no mind, no ethics, scheming, deceiving, idiotic, complacent, and intellectually sleezy" <
George only does this to people he likes. On a volume basis, he really likes you. :-)
About word vs. other art: I am more "auditory" than "visual". Thus Stravinsky does more to reach my mystic kernel than, say, Van Gogh. But above all I am "verbal". Words, and the breathtaking tableaux they can fill out, are very special to me. Others react differently - so perhaps I may be allowed to conclude that there is an awful lot of subjective response - "taste" - even in matters of spirit. Alex |
