I could be wrong, Paul, but I believe that KO has never missed a quarter since it went public. If anyone on the thread can confirm or counter that, please respond. I've owned a large position in coke for many years, including the bear market of the seventies. The company has remained stable through many changes in the economic environment and has always been a mainstay of many professional and individual portfolios. It has been viewed (rightly or otherwise) as a port in a storm, a sacred cow, an American icon. I think the fall of coke would truly presage a dangerous twist in our economic future. dp
