Gary,

You seem to assume that those who sold at 42 did so out of fear. From what I read, a good deal of the selling going on was from hedge funds which had to liquidate their positions; undoubtedly, individuals in a similar situation (margin calls) were involved as well. This is not fear, and it is a good example of how an excellent company which has given no indication that it wouldn't meet its targets can still get hurt in a general market downturn; a good example of why people should avoid getting too highly leveraged unless they're absolutely sure it's the bottom, etc., etc.
