I'm glad to hear someone object to the double negative "not uncomfortable". I occasionally write an article, and in one of my submissions, the editor changed my wording from "it is common", to "it is not uncommon". I was taught in school to avoid double negatives. My editor and Mr. McGinn must have gone to a different school.
