ftc's problem with msft was that after they cornered the market on operating systems/environments, they attempted to use that advantage to corner the market on applications. if intel did something similar with pc hardware is when i would start getting worried -- but why would intc get into the low-margin world of peripherals from the high-margin world of processor chips?
