How do you think the Republicans will use the "persecution"? Or rather, what form do you think that persecution will take? "The persecution" has been on going through the Starr Grand Jury Hearings. Congress was given an interim report based on sex and lies from that. Leaks and filtered half truths and deception preceded. Perfect information for media and attention. Headline grabbing attention. Why didn't everyone wait for the final reports (if it would ever come) and cover China and technology, fund raising and FBI files and what else may be on Starr's scope. Albeit dry but real issues. The timing was for the elections and it was crammed thru especially for it. 4 yrs for Starr 7 months for Clinton 1 month for Judicial Committee 1 hour for debate (sorry orig 1 hour,2 final) for the House For Impeachment - only the 3rd time in the history of country (212 years) -A timeline for elections. I believe it was inevitable for the hearings but I wanted the Republicans to take a higher road not the 'media hype-sensationalized innuendo blitz' that made me turn away from Clinton in the first place. If I want a three-ring circus I'll watch Barnum and Bailey. I wished for dignified debate over issues of national interests and freedoms not the definition of 'is' and what the janitor found cleaning up after Monica. But it's the road each would play for survival and their interests, which may or may not coincide with the people. And in that it will be interesting how this will play out. E7 I'll take 3 cards and raise without looking
