[read lower the Fed rate] 30-year bond at 5.11%....means that there is heavy selling of bonds. Confirmation with the $ dropping a bit against the Yen. Bank stocks going up. If low $ holds, this will be positive for stock market. And, HK, and the rest of the E.Asian countries...and lessen risk of recession. This is what G-Span was supposed to do by lowering rates, but somehow it's working out by itself. Give buyers a reason to believe it's not the end of the world, and they will start buying. Stocks are way oversold. We'll have to see...
