Yes, I've heard of engine problems with the TM1 engine on MBA. I thought the 3.0 was only a beta release. Obviously there are plans to convert the engine to essbase. But my understanding of the plan is that those clients that want to keep using the 2.8 engine can do so and there will be an attractive upgrade path to essbase for those that need essbase's capabilities running under MBA. (I only am vaguely familiar with this situation though.) Part of the impetus for the merger was for Hyperion to own and control the underlying engine for its analytical applications. td
