Thanks for the feedback, Peter. I haven't done much shorting yet, but would like to do more. Useful to hear that Datek, while less useful than it may have once been, is still about as good as it gets at this.

If you've ever discussed the various pros and cons of MB Trading versus Datek and Waterhouse, might you point me to the posts? I'd be very interested in your comparisons.

I am indeed right downtown, in vintage building between Riverside and Sprague, in a building called the San Marco. Don't know if it's the one you're thinking of or not; it's just west of the Cathedral, the Spokesman Review building, and the Fox Theatre. Glad to hear you're a near neighbor.
