>>BTW, what's your favorite annual cyclical that has a fall High point? .<<

Tom,

This is an area I haven't even looked at. I've started examining a shorter term cycle - that certain stocks seem to dive a few days before the monthly options expiration date and then recover the following Tuesday.

>>Interesting that the commodity end of your world is in a glut of inventory. I've had people ask in the past about use of AIM with commodities, but don't have a clue as to how it might work.<<

I've tried using AIM for "paper trading" commodity furtures but couldn't resolve that the actual monies invested are highly leveraged with how it affects PC. There is a similar program to AIM for commodities, but I haven't had a chance to try it out -- Too busy with courses I'm teaching (21 hours of physics, astronomy & math) and the craziness of the stock market.

Right now my commodity exposure is limited to renting out most of my farm land and grain storage facilities to others for cash.

Yes, my AAPL has given me some AIM sells this summer and just missed another at its peak. I'm still carrying a nice profit on my remaining shares with an average price of $19. My only green arrow yesterday was DROOY, which I promptly sold a bunch of for a 180% profit in a little over 30 days.
