agree with you on acquisition opinion. But do you think $50 million is enough to buy out another micro-cap? Don't like idea of issuing more shares and diluting my shares UNLESS we get a great deal. ASYT or BRKS or some front end automation would be an interesting choice, but they will probably continue to report losses for the next few quarters. COHU already trade at a low PE, would acquiring a no profit company hurt us more??? If it means getting us more analysts maybe it wouldnt be such a bad dea and increasing our PE..

hope you are right about ASEC and ATRM falling off the face of the earth, this would increase COHU's market share by several percentage points easily. Hope COHU can take away some of Advantest's business as well.

Have you considered buying call options on COHU for next spring??
