Yahoo auction count as of 10/9/98: 29334
Yahoo auction count as of 10/1/98: 26810

As of 9/22/98, it was 15388.

It appears that not only is Yahoo's auction growth slowing down, but more importantly, nobody is bidding !!!

I have an auction that I started about 9 days ago on Yahoo, starting at one penny, and it has received only 7 page views!

My average number of eBay views per auction is around 200. I once sold a laptop that received more than 1000 page views on eBay.

Unless Yahoo makes some drastic changes, the sellers will stop wasting their time listing auctions on Yahoo, and the game will be over.

Yahoo auctions may be free, but a seller's time to list and track is worth something.
