Alexander Hamilton did pay a guy off to prevent
him from going public with the information, but
he did not lie under oath about it.

Thomas Jefferson inhereted about 150 slaves from
a friend. Two of the women became his mistresses
and had children by him...but he never lied under
oath about it.

Ben Franklin is known as "The Father of Our Country"
for many reasons...including his extramarital children
but he never lied to a Grand Jury about it.

You also forgot to mention Grover Cleveland who may
have fathered a child with a loose woman. Guess what
he did about it? He told his staff to tell the truth.
Further, he gave financial help to the woman, and later
helped put the kid up for adoption. He never lied about
it to anyone.

The impeachment trial of Bill Clinton is not about sex.
It is about lying under oath, telling lies to others
knowing they would repeat those lies to a Grand Jury,
suborning perjury, witness tampering, and now a charge
of conspiracy has even been added. It does make you
wonder about some of the other "truths" Bill Clinton
may have told. Such as:

1) Whitewater was just a bad land deal.

2) He never got drafted. (indeed he did recieve a
draft notice)

3) The FBI files were just an accidental mistake.

4) No military technology was transferred to China.

5) Nobody knows how the Rose Law Firm billing records
appeared in the Whitehouse, two years after being
subpoened.

and on, and on...
