Dan: Yes indeedy. VLSI did provide chips to AAPL, the last I heard. I wish I knew how many and for which machines, but I believe that AAPL is selling more of everything these days, so that can only help VLSI's sales as well, assuming that their relationship does exist.

AAPL is planning a big show for their earnings report, and this is unusual to AAPL's history. They usually present after the bell with Fred Anderson presenting. This will be a spectacle with Steve Jobs presenting, and new products being offered. AAPL stock was badly hit recently, dropping from the lower 40's to the upper 20's! Today it started back up, closing over 35. There could be considerably greater move before and after the earnings report and some of that could impact on VLSI.

It's a relief to see VLSI close at 7. I thought it was having a bit of a tough time today.

I like your gamble on the VLSI Oct 7.5's. :-)
