Check out stocksite.com Bill Fleckenstein's comments on the situation are interesting and he's not longwinded. I have a portfolio named after something you said, "catching a falling knife." FN2 was up 5% in 4 hours today. FN1 was a disaster last month. Today, all cash by 4pm. I don't want any holdings over the weekend. Sold all Oct. DJX puts in the am. May convert to Nov. over 8000. Market is bouncing hard off of 7400-7500, shows life each time. Rumors of a fed cut??? We'll see. Yes the inventory bubble was a real problem in '74. The game was buy ahead of the next price increase. Things have definitely changed!
