Santiago, bless your heart
What you say just shows you're smart

As Newton wrote in his most famous hymn the following familiar words:
"Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see"

Like Newton, there is the wretch-ed side of all us.
We all have sinned.
We all have fallen far short of God's glory.
And without the authentic confession of our sins, the confessing will not appropriate the forgiveness for our sins.
Like the lad that was sent to the corner to sit in a chair for awhile as a form of punishment. Later his mother checked on him and asked him if he was still sitting in the chair. He 'sed: "Yes Mama, but I'm standing up on the inside!"

So---let's both pray that the wretchedness that is experienced by all of our leaders drive them to their knees and authentic confession. Our media needs to go to their knees as well for their duplicity.

One of these days, the following will occur: And then I saw all the dead, great and small standing there---before the Throne! And books were opened. Then another book was opened: the Book of Life. The dead were judged by what was written in the books, by the way they had lived. Sea released its dead, Death and Hell turned in their dead. Each man and woman was judged by the way he or she had lived. Then death and Hell were hurled into Lake Fire. This is the second death---Lake Fire. Anyone whose name was not found inscribed in the Book of Life was hurled into Lake Fire." Revelation 20:11-15
