The gas liquefaction issue has been demonstrated feasible but has not in the past been economical. That is true until natural gas prices rise. Well.....Gas prices have risen. A pipeline for gas has been talked about here in Alaska for a couple of years plus there is a test plant in operation but can't remember where in Alaska though. Risky venture right now but then oil hasn't been all peaches and cream!
