yes..didn't take the time to amplify the subject..as long as people have enough to eat..governments are "stable"..when people are hungry civil war becomes an issue check out this sad story about a little boy selling his blood so his family came have some food phillynews.com:80/inquirer/98/Oct/07/international/INDO07.htm my part of my thought was that when major economies are in danger of sinking..don't they start some trouble elsewhere to help boost their economy? or am I being cynical..to help create a unity among their citizens etc? ps amcity.com:80/portland/stories/100598/story1.html interesting story..wonder if part of the sanctions they are referring to is against Pakistan and India ..wonder about the farm bill veto ..wonder if US is undermining the small farmers in USA and helping to create more corporate comglomerate agricultural businesses..seeds of what.. sorry for so many offshots..the implications I guess are too broad
