Great comparison post! I feel that most would have fallen for CPQ, including me based on that chart, especially at that time!

I might still fall for it if CPQ could get their accounting system to function as well as DELLs is currently running.

I have heard some of the new CPQ adds on TV now, and they are quite good! This morning I heard that a $499 computer, 266mhz, 32M ram, 2G hard disk, 56K modem and 14" monitor is going on sale here (Seattle area). System is $399 w/o monitor! I'm sure that there is no software except the operating system, maybe! (Just heard, computer is from South Korea)

That's a heck of a price!

Just yesterday, I received e-mail about a MICRON computer for $1899, see previous post!

Looks like competition is 'heating' up!
