Bob - thanks, that clears it up. I agree that this was not 'panic selling' in general, in fact a lot of obvious bottom fishing in the second half of both thursday and friday. But action on some individual issues was pretty interesting, I suspect there was a lot of margin call selling on Dell which was quickly snapped up by anyone with cash.
