Understand a hybrid of BPI,LBP & CETP can eliminate ABF, RS, ROG, various forms of PM, the dreaded MIR and other pest.<g>

With all the peptides from non humans it would seem there is plenty of work for humanization. I would hope this would mean at least some interest in the XOMA HE patent and process.

I have not noticed any interest in the Discover article on the Magainin board which I find strange as the second article starts off with a large segment on them and is titled The Frog Solution.

My read is that this is bullish for biotechs. It should be clear that interest has dried up. Many stocks like XOMA have been devastated. Even the LGND board which used to average 50 post per day is down to 5 to 10. Lots of fear. Deals, like Alza/Sugen go unnoticed or at least without comment.

Think biotechs are a great sector but of course this could just be wishful thinking on my part. I expect more deals, more article in the popular press and more T.V. shows. In fact the bleaker things are elsewhere the more chance that people will find a ray of hope in the discoveries of biotechs.
