Major, major problem with this "cash theory " As Japan discovered people hiding assets in cash, often in foreign accounts plunge the country into deep recession, any attempt to demonitise gold would lead to the unstable mark, high unemployment and social unrest in Germany with rise of nationalistic fervor first directed toward immigrants (Turks and others) God help us all if Germany go that route
