Barry: Could not agree with you more. Isn't it odd though that we are wringing our hands over lay-offs but last year we would have shrugged it off as downsizing for productivity.Check the ads in the employment section there are plenty of jobs waiting for these guys.There is a lot of media hype in all this. Japan is buying MSFT Win 98 like it is going out of style during their deepest part of a recession. $ deval. will lead to a pick up in exports and once the 3rd world theives get caught then those countries might even contribute to the next round of world economic growth. We lend money to countries like Indonesia (spelled the Riattis) they put in their pockets under the heading of bad loans and ask for IMF to make up the difference. America is doing fine if it doesn't fall prey to fear. JFD
