Mike, we just passed a bill to double
the number of H-1 visas in an effort
to fill up high tech positions. I know
for a fact that this move will have an
adverse effect on American engineers and
software people. At the same time it will
help companies to save on payroll by
hiring 20 something aliens at half the
cost of 40 something locals.
Isn't it funny that this was done while
high tech is in recession?
