Monty: the measure of "good" is whether you get market direction correct. There is only ONE standard---- did you make money. Jim Grant has a great prose style, and is a wonderful commentator. And he has been wrong for 3 years. I'd rather be rich than "right." Wouldn't you. Buy low, sell high. Sell high, buy low (that's what I've been doing lately) That's success. The rest is noise.
