Hi Peter,

I always think it's best if an animal can be at home with you until the last. In 1994, both of my collies dogs got a form of lymphosarcoma, one after the other and died exactly 2 months to the day apart. It was a pretty terrible experience, but we kept the dogs at home right until the end. I think it was the best for them.

BTW, our veterinary oncologist had never heard of such a thing happening and tried to find out if any other veterinary cancer specialists had encountered such a thing. We still don't know the cause to this day.

Anyhow, take care... my thoughts are with you.
