All,
Now that we see confirmation of all of the insider selling, (much more than I originally thought), right after the SEC ruling, it might be a good idea to reread my posts conjecturing possible reasons for those sales.

I don't think the AOL insiders would be selling if they were negotiating a sale of their company, or even a joint venture. Nor do I feel that we would have seen as much insider selling if the SEC ruling was going to have a positive effect on the company going forward. And I don't think AOL's Execs. would have sold if they knew there was going to be a split in their stock, or if AOL's earnings were going to be a positive surprise in Q1 99.
