Sergio,I would love to own a model SPX. "The SPX model rounds out the high performance category. This two-seater features a 110-horsepower, 800 Series Rotax marine engine with a stainless steel impeller." That said, and it has already been mentioned by a Floridian (no offense to Floridians)I ride "snow mobiles" (snowmobiles), this is the segment of BBD I would like to see spun-off. Of course this will probably never happen,as it was the basis of the companies success in the beginning. Their revenues have been dropping in this segment and it is understandable, while their products are excellent, there is a lot of competition, and more on the way. At one time the had a lock on the business' of both snowmobiles and personal watercraft, but no more..My main concern are the watercraft, they have a bad rep, noisy, dangerous and a nusance(?). Many Federal,State and Corp of Engineers managed properties are banning the use of these crafts..They have much the same stigma as "4 wheelers and three wheelers" (although, I don't believe BBD produces these) The Rotax engine is a fantastic engine, very high tech no doubt, but the competition in this business segment(snowmobile/watercraft) is tough,to many competing for to little,IMO...you asked<g>..DD Now on to building planes and trains(mark my words, this area will explode,IMO of course<g>-heck it already has) ;^) |
