Jim,

Briefing.com is well respected and they had been fairly neutral on the semiconductor stocks recently. Hopefully their comments will generate some positive interest for VLSI. Thanks for posting the story.

I responded to a couple of posts on the Qualcomm thread this morning and was wondering if you can read them and help me understand some things. I'm still learning about VLSI's wireless business and sincerely appreciate all the help you have given me in the past. I have provided links to the pertinent posts below. While this looks like a lot to read, some of the posts are short and I think it's important for VLSI investors to sort these issues out. I would sincerely appreciate comments from you or others if you are interested in these issues.

Says MOT buys ASICs from a QCOM licensee named Pantech

Ok, here are my specific questions.

1. Does MOT use their own ASICs? If not, who do they buy from?
2. Did VLSI price their CDMA ASICs lower than their competitors? If so, do you think that they did this to build market share faster?
3. Do you know anything about NOK.A using VLSI ASICs?
4. Does QCOM buy from VLSI in some cases? If so, for which handsets and why?
5. Can you comment on W. Houston's conclusion concerning data transmission speeds in post number 16276?

Thanks Jim. I would understand if you don't want to read all of these posts but I would sincerely appreciate feedback from you or others that better understand these issues.
