Any chance we might see parameter passing, arrays, pre/post-amble processing, list processing, string data types, or plain 'ole text files for scans this time around?
Jeff -
I haven't heard from you lately. These items aren't on the list at this time. We are re writing the user interface to make using qp2 easier for all concerned. It's a drag and drop interface for creating scans and maintaining lists. You'll be able to do things like merge lists by just dragging them onto the spreadsheet. Also, you can add columns by right clicking on the header, and selecting the information you want - price, fundamentals etc.
We're using a spreadsheet control that's Excel compatible. It has the entire excel formula engine in it. As time goes on, it will turn into a ta spreadsheet.
I'm looking into incorporating VBA - Visual Basic Automation to give people the control they want for scans, indicators etc. - that move would give you everything in your list plus a lot more.
We'll have a prototype out in a few weeks so people can get an idea of what's coming, and we can get some feedback on the approach.
