Hi Rampage. If WT were to have successfully completed the Norphlet at a rate of about 1300 bbls/day, I doubt that would have been significant enough in the current market to have had any effect. I sincerely believe that any move upward in any equity should be viewed as an opportunity to GET THE HELL OUT!

You couldn't sell me stock in a company that had just developed a vaccine against cancer. The good times are really over, for good. Or at least for a couple of years.

The large oil & gas producers will be the only "institutions" watching the junior oil-patch players and they are unlikely to make any fast moves. They know that these little companies are being starved for cash by both lack of investment and low oil prices. When the stock price bottoms, they'll buy. Without fanfair they will accrue significant positions from the market. Essentially buying the company without the company getting any extra cash in the interim to finance exploration or operations.

Buy the bear funds and leave the "blood in the streets" junior equities to the real novices. If you hold WT or any similar junior for the long-term (five years hence) you may do quite well when the mergers are formally announced. In the mean time, you'll watch your investment depreciate.

Enjoy your ebola ball (turkey) and I'll be lurking you.

Regards, AL.
