Whatever way a company begins to manifest dominance, for whatever it is selling, even if it's "only" advertising, it will still take an awful lot of change to turn the momentum....Yes, someone could come along and copy DELL, but DELL has already achieved some Brand loyalty....Yes, there are other "Portals", but YHOO is just getting bigger and bigger, the brand loyalty is recognized as an important factor in companies choosing to spend it's advertising dollars with..YHOO is becoming a "name"...I see it sort of like the brand "Levi"...Yes, there are other jeans makers who make a similar, just as good, maybe even in some instances 'better' jean..However "Levi" has garnered a Brand recognigtion and loyalty that gives "Levi" leverage in selling.....Let me repeat what Mr. Benjamin, Internet analyst with BA Robertson Stephens said on Friday, 10-9-98:
************************************
<<We believe Yahoo!'s strong revenue and traffic growth validate our belief that the prize for first place is much higher than for second or third.>>....<<THE PRIZE FOR FIRST PLACE GETS BIGGER: We continue to believe there remains considerable upside to our estimates, particularly as we look out over the next year or two, with Yahoo!, as leader, capturing a disproportionate share of advertising and commerce revenues. For reference, we estimate that Yahoo! revenues in 2001 will approach $700 million, relative to our estimate of U.S. advertising revenues of more than $6 billion in 2001.>>
************************************
So you tell me, what is it that Mr. Benjamin sees that would make it possible for YHOO to garner 10% of ALL advertising revenue by 2001?..That ALL includes ALL mediums, newspaper, Television, radio, magazine, billboard, and ---- yes, even all internet companys' advertising dollars spent....Mr. Benjamin can be only HALF right and YHOO will still be worth a few hundred times more than what it is now.
I don't know if you consider "investing" in YHOO at least a reasonable "gamble", but either Mr. Benjamin is right or you (if you are a naysayer) are right...I don't know your credentials, but I do know Mr. Benjamins...If you can produce to me, even by Private Message, better credentials I may consider your opinions to be more valuable than Mr. Benjamin's...At this time I will put my money where the professionals are.

Regards, George
