One thing I am not seeing mentioned any where on SI yet it is all I have heard on the BBC today is what effect the Serbia bombing is going to have this week. I believed this rally would come as I posted last week but started covering my shorts when I got the call Friday ( I hope that isn't considered insider trading <g>) that the US was sending aircraft over there. Sorry guys, couldn't say anything here until it was made public.

With 6 B-52s sitting in England, this doesn't sound like we are going to use harsh language on them. An air strike of substantial size will have an impact on the market but I am not sure how to profit from it. I was deployed during Desert Storm so I wasn't trading the market then and oil was the obvious play. Other than cruise missiles, what is there to bet on as a result of this action. According to BBC, the vote to OK the strikes is expected tomorrow so figure the actual launches start that night, their night time is our day time Tuesday. Seems we should be figuring out how to maneuver for this play. Is there any Serbian companies currently being traded on our markets that would be good targets? <g>
