Personal preference if you can tolerate losing data.Your backup strategy is subject to human error. I touch hundreds of files everyday. Trying to back them up manually would be a joke as well as a waste of time. Keeping track of whats where would be a nightmare. How do you formalizer a rotation schedule with this approacgh. If you really valued your data you wouldn't use this approach, it has far too many limitations. But, if it makes you happy. You will get bitten one day though. I would really recommend something better...

NOTE: Seagate backup exec works nicely with Zip's, etc...
