"Everybody and his brother has turned bearish, talking gloom and doom, not just semi-perma bears like me, all the analysts I hear say they are raising cash levels - complete reverse of early July. " Interesting observation. My observation though is that 'everybody' is saying what you say above. On the other hand, if you were in a movie theater that was on fire and everybody and his brother had decided to leave because of the fire, would you then decide the best course of action would be to stay and watch the film?
