...it does not pay off to stick to assets? VIP can never increase their prices if the russian price index goes up?

Depending on the cost and earnings structure, VIP should preserve their income in dollar terms at least in part, if they maintain their profit margins.

If not - there is no PE of 3 or 30 anymore, and the stock price downturn is justified.
